The sisters of the Beta Xi Chapter of Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc. would like you our 3rd Annual Esperanza Gala: A Hurricane Relief Initiative for Puerto Rico.
Kdchi, the only active Latina Sorority at the University of South Carolina, will be hosting our 3rd Annual Esperanza Gala on Sunday, November 11th 2018 at M Space in the Vista, Columbia, SC. In the past, the money that has been raised from the Gala's has gone towards assisting the latino community with DACA Application Scholarships. We are very excited to continue the purpose behind the creation of the Esperanza Gala and have chosen a cause for which to tailor this year's event to. The funds that are raised from the Gala this year will be going towards Hurricane Relief for la Isla de Puerto Rico.
The event is a banquet dinner that includes a silent auction, speakers and performances. The silent auction is comprised of a variety of items including Art. These items are donated to the cause and all of the funds that are raised from its sale are added to the funds raised from the event. We have had a lot of success in the past raising thousands of dollars to help the latino community. We are hoping to create the same impact this year with the 3rd Annual Esperanza Gala.
